About AcidSolitaire

Solitaire for iPhone

Acid Solitaire is based on the Klondike style Solitaire card game.

What makes Acid Solitaire so fun to play is that all Acid Solitaire games are winnable. Games are numbered sequentially in order by difficulty. Acid Solitaire includes 50,000 winnable Deal 1 games and 50,000 winnable deal 3 games.

Approximately one-third of traditional solitaire games are unwinnable. We've eliminated the impossible games and now it is up to you to win them. Although they may be winnable, they may not all be easy.

The goal of Acid Solitaire is to win every game. If you don't win the first time, undo your moves and try again. Acid Solitaire keeps track of every move you make. Advanced hint system allows you to cycle through possible moves and request hints as needed. Track various stats as you play and try to keep your Win Percentage at 100%!

How to Play Solitaire

The goal of Acid Solitaire is to move all 52 cards to the four home cells in the upper right of the playfield.

Each of the four home cells in the upper right will hold a stack of one suit of cards. The stack must be made in order from lowest (Ace) to highest (King).

When a new game is started, the cards will be dealt into seven columns. Cards that are not dealt are available in the Deck Stack in the upper-left corner.

To move a card, simply touch the card and it will move to the best destination. You can also drag and drop cards to where you want it to go.

You may move cards according to these rules:

  1. A card from the bottom of the column or in the Deck Stack can move to a home cell stack. Remember, home cell stacks are one suit of cards. The stack must be made in order from lowest (Ace) to highest (King).
  2. A card in the Deck Stack or from the bottom of a column can move to the bottom of another column. Moves to a column must be made in order of highest to lowest, alternating red/black suit color.

For example, if the bottom card on a column is the 9 of Spades (a black suit), the only cards that can be moved to that column would be the 8 of Hearts or the 8 of Diamonds (both red suits).

If a column has no cards in it, a King (or group of cards starting with a King) may be moved into the empty column.

About AcidFreecell

Solitaire for iPhone

Acid Freecell is based on the popular Freecell style solitaire card game. Many people prefer Acid Freecell over other types of Solitaire because you can see all of the cards at the start of the game. Winning and losing does not depend on the luck of the draw, it depends only on the choices you make.

The goal of Acid Freecell is to win every game. If you don't win the first time, undo your moves and try again. Acid Freecell keeps track of every move you make. Advanced hint system allows you to cycle through possible moves and request hints as needed. Track various stats as you play and try to keep your Win Percentage at 100%!

How to Play Freecell

The goal is to move all 52 cards to their home cells (the four positions in the upper-right corner of the screen). Home cell stacks each contain one suit of cards, and the stacks must be made in order from lowest (Ace) to highest (King).

Freecell for iPhone

When a new game is started, the cards will be dealt into eight columns. To move a card, simply touch the card and it will move to the best destination. You can also drag and drop cards to where you want it to go. To move more than one card, touch and drag the highest card in the group that you want to move.

The four free cells in the upper left of the playfield can be used to temporarily hold cards, one card per free cell.

Each home cell will hold a stack of one suit of cards. The stack must be made in order from lowest (Ace) to highest (King).

You may move cards according to these rules:

  1. A card from the bottom of the column can move to an empty free cell (the free cells are the four positions in the upper-left corner of the screen).
  2. A card from the bottom of a column or in a free cell can move to a home cell stack (the four positions in the upper-right corner of the screen). Home cell stacks must be one suit of cards. The stack is made in order from lowest (Ace) to highest (King).
  3. A card in a free cell or from the bottom of a column can move to the bottom of another column. Moves to a column must be made in order of highest to lowest, alternating red/black suit color.
  4. For example, if the bottom card on a column is the 9 of Spades (a black suit), the only cards that can be moved to that column would be the 8 of Hearts or the 8 of Diamonds (both red suits).
  5. You can move multiple cards at once if there are enough free cells available to store the cards as they are moving. Acid Freecell will route the cards to empty free cells for you when moving multiple cards. If there aren't enough free cells open to move multiple cards, the move won't be allowed.
  6. An empty column can be treated like a free cell. You can move any card to the empty column, and you can move multiple cards to an empty column if there are enough other free cells open to store the cards as they are moving.

About AcidSpider

Solitaire for iPhone

Acid Spider is based on the popular Spider style solitaire card game. All Acid Spider 1-suit, 2-suit and 4-suit games are winnable.

The goal of Acid Spider is to win every game. If you don't win the first time, undo your moves and try again. Acid Spider keeps track of every move you make. Advanced hint system allows you to cycle through possible moves and request hints as needed. Track various stats as you play and try to keep your Win Percentage at 100%!

How to Play Spider

Acid Spider is a solitaire card game played with multiple decks of cards. The goal is to move all 104 cards to the eight home cells in the upper right of the playfield. In order to move cards to the home cells, cards must be grouped together in suit, in descending order (King through Ace).

Each home cell will hold a stack of one suit of cards. Only a complete stack of cards, King through Ace, can move to the home cell. Individual cards can't move to the home cells on their own.

Spider for iPhone

There are 104 cards in Acid Spider - more that one deck. This means you will see multiple cards with the same number and suit when playing. If you are playing 1-suit Acid Spider, all cards will have the same suit - but there will still be 104 cards in play.

When a new game is started, the cards will be dealt into ten columns. Cards that are not dealt are available in the Deck Stack in the upper-left. To move a card, simply touch the card and it will move to the best destination. You can also drag and drop cards to where you want it to go.

The goal is to move all cards to the eight home cells. Home cell stacks each contain one full suit of cards. No cards will move to a home cell until a complete set (King through Ace) is created in the playfield. When a complete set is made, all 13 cards in that set will automatically move to a home cell.

You may move cards according to these rules:

  1. Cards must be placed in descending -value order. Any 3 can be placed on any 4, for example regardless of suit.
  2. Multiple cards can be moved if they are in descending value order, and if their suits all match.
  3. Any movable cards can be moved to an empty column.
  4. A full suit of 13 cards, King through Ace, will move to a home cell automatically. The only way to get any cards to a home cell is by creating a complete set of cards of the same suit, in descending order.
  5. You may deal cards at any time. Ten cards will be dealt at a time, one to each column.

Tips & Hints

Acid Solitaire is packed with big and small features to make the game enjoyable for everyone.

Here are some basic game tips to get you going.

  1. Cards will automatically move to their home cell when possible if they are no longer strategically valuable. If all four Aces are in their home cells, for example, twos will jump to their home cell if they can.
  2. It is sometimes possible to move more than one card at a time. You can select a group of cards in a column if they are in the proper order. Tap on the highest card in the group to select the group.
  3. If you can't make any useful moves, you lose the game.
  4. Acid Solitaire will warn you when there is one useful move left. This means it has detected that, while there may be a few places to legally move, only one of those moves has any potential to move the game forward. If you get this warning, you may be on the verge of losing the game.
  5. If you get into trouble, you can restart the current game from the beginning or undo as many of your previous moves as you like. Or, you can always re-shuffle and start a new brand new game.
  6. To see all cards of a certain value, Touch the Card Finder icon in the toolbar.
  7. If you quit a game, your stats will show it as a game "Played". If you don't win a game, you can replay until you win. The game is only counted as "Played" once.
  8. Acid Solitaire will keep track of your progress as you play multiple games. Try to win every game!
  9. Play head-to-head against an opponent by playing the same game number. Use the Select Game option to choose a game by number. You can see the number of the current game in the Show Stats screen.
  10. If you want to know the most useful move to make - use Sparkle Hints.
