Will Red Mercury games work on my computer?
The AcidSolitaire Collection will work on all computers running the following versions of Microsoft Windows:
- Vista
- XP
- 2003
- NT
- 2000
- Me
Windows 98 is not currently supported.

Will Red Mercury games work on my Mac?
Currently, Scoop is the only Red Mercury game that will work on your Mac computer.
Scoop supports Mac OS X 10.4 and higher.
Can I install the games on both my laptop and my computer?
If you use more than one computer, you can download and activate your AcidSolitaire Collections games on both.
Download and install the games on your computer and click the Activate button. You will need to enter your original order number to complete the activation process. If you need help, try the UnlockCode Wizard or send an email to support@red-mercury.com.
Will Red Mercury games work on my Palm handheld?
Red Mercury games run on all Palm OS devices including: Sony CLIE series, Palm handhelds and smartphones, Kyocera, Samsung, Tapwave Zodiac.
AcidSolitaire Collection supports all screen sizes and orientations, hi-res screens and 5-way navigation.
Minimum Palm OS 3.5 Required
Are there any feature limitations on the trial version?
No. The trial is a full feature version. You are only limited by time. If you would like to continue playing you can purchase an UnlockCode that will not expire.
Do I have to pay to download the games?
No. You can download software from the Red Mercury website for free at any time. However, the software expires after the trial period and you will be asked to register if you would like to continue playing. To register, all you need to do is purchase an UnlockCode and you will have access to unlimited game play.
How do I download and install games on my computer?
It is quick and easy to download and install Red Mercury games for Windows on your computer:
- Select the product you want
- Click the download link
- Click on the "Run" button
- Click on the "Install" button
How do I download and install Red Mercury games on my Palm?
It is easy to download and install Red Mercury games on your Palm handheld:
- Select the product you want
- Save the .prc file to your computer
- Add the .prc file to your Install Tool or Quick Install application
- HotSync your handheld to complete the installation process
I got a new computer, can I download the games again?
The latest version is always available for download directly from the Red Mercury website. If you have an older version of the software installed and you download a newer version, the new version will install directly over your current version. Your stats and registration should remain intact.
If you installing the games on a new computer and your original UnlockCode no longer works, you can request a new UnlockCode using the automated UnlockCode Wizard or by sending an email to support@red-mercury.com.
I got a new PDA can I download the games again?
Registered users can download the latest version available on the Red Mercury website at anytime. If you lost the game or are transferring to a new handheld, simply re-download the game that you had purchased. Your original UnlockCode should still work. If not, you can request a new UnlockCode from the UnlockCode Wizard.
What is the difference between .prc and .exe files?
The .prc file is a Palm specific file type. If you are downloading games for your Palm handheld, you need to download the .prc file.
The .exe file is the windows executable file. If you are downloading the games for your computer or laptop running Windows, you will need to download the .exe file.
How do I uninstall software from my computer?
It is easy to uninstall Red Mercury software using the add/remove programs application on your computer.
- Click on the Windows start menu
- Select Settings > Control Panel
- Select add/remove programs
- Select the application that you want to uninstall
- Click the change/remove button
- Click on the uninstall button to complete the uninstall process
The game and the associated statistics file will be deleted. If you delete the game by accident, you can always download the game again from the Red Mercury website.
How do I uninstall software on my Palm?
It is easy to delete software on your Palm handheld.
- Tap the Home icon in the graffiti area
- Tap the Menu icon in the graffiti area
- Select delete from the drop down menu
- Tap on the application you want to delete
- Tap the delete button at the bottom of the screen
